Path to Glory is a fun and exciting narrative based way to play Warhammer Age of Sigmar. to start down the path of glory you must first create a Path to Glory Roster. The Roster keeps track of your army wide information, like your army's name, origin, background and notable events. It is also used to keep track of your Glory Points, Battle Formations, and you have an Arcane Tome to keep track of the spells, prayers, and manifestations your army has access to. Once you have completed your Roster, it is time to recruit an army. This information is kept track of on your Order of Battle. Every army starts by picking a Warlord. If you have your Faction's Battletome, you can use the Faction Specific Rules to build a custom Warlord. With your Roster and Order of Battle complete, all that is left to do is pick a Quest. All This information is supplied in the Path to Glory Battlepack Ascension located below. Now you just need to find an opponent, pick a Battleplan and fight. After the fight you will need to do some army maintenance, such as assigning experience, leveling up units, spending glory points, and managing your units as well as new recruits. The Aftermath Sequence below will help you through these steps. There is also a section listing the core Paths you can choose for your units to go down. Once you have fought a Path to Glory battle, your army must process what happened to them during the battle. Glory and renown are gained, as well as experience. Units never truly die in the 4th edition Path to Glory, so it is all rewards!
